Permits are required for travelling in Park and when camping, which is available from the Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MET). The MET offices are open from Monday to Friday 08:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 17:00 and on Saturday, Sunday & public Holidays 08:00 to 13:00. There are offices in Swakopmund and Sesriem. (Sept-2017).
